Susanna Space is a writer of essays and memoir as well as articles about food and travel. A twenty-year resident of New Mexico originally from New England, Susanna is an associate editor with edible New Mexico and independent food magazine The Bite. She also offers communications consulting, design, and marketing expertise to clients.

Susanna’s literary work has appeared in numerous outlets including Guernica, The Rumpus, Longreads, and The Los Angeles Review. Her essays have been finalists in several contests including the New Millenium Writing Awards, and her essay “Threshold” won the Glass Mountain Literary Prize, judged by Antonia Nelson. Her work has received support from the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund, which provides grants to feminist women in the arts.
